Who is Ulleo’s Interior Design & Decoration course for?
Our Essentials course has been designed to provide you with an overview of interior design and decoration. This course is suitable for those wanting to learn about design to explore a future career, learn interior design as a hobby, or tackle personal projects.
Our Professionals course has been designed for those who are seeking a career in interior design and are wanting to enter the design industry directly.
There are many pathways you can take as a designer, and as you progress through the course you will find inspiration for each. The completion of the Making your Mark: Business Fundamentals and Design for the Future: Sustainability Leadership for Interior Designers are essential lessons for working in a design business and in learning how to shape a more sustainable future.

What is the duration of the course?
You will have 12 months from your date of enrolment to complete the course. The Essentials course option spans around 40 hours of learning, while the Professionals course option spans around 60 hours. This includes watching, reading and studying the course materials, as well as quizzes and assignments.
Who are my course mentors?
Your course mentors are Pia Watson and Isabelle Foley. Pia is an Associate at top Sydney design firm, Tom Mark Henry. Pia works in all aspects of interior design including residential, commercial and retail.
Isabelle is an Interior Designer at Bates Smart. Having worked across the industry, including a role alongside Pia at Tom Mark Henry, Isabelle has a depth of industry wisdom to share.
You will have endless opportunities to engage with your course mentors throughout your learning journey – through individual and group-based discussions, Ulleo Live! panels and workshops and course events. They will also provide you with detailed feedback on your course projects and assessments.
Which software will I learn as part of this course?
You will have an introduction to industry-leading CAD technology called SketchUp which is an intuitive 3D modelling application that lets you create and edit 2D and 3D models.
